Ingredients

- 3 tbsp ghee or butter

- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1 can (400g) crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro for garnish
Preparation Steps
- Marinate the Chicken:
- Combine the yogurt, lemon juice, ground cumin, ground coriander, garam masala, turmeric, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Add the chicken pieces and coat well. Marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- Prepare the Sauce:
- Heat ghee or butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Sauté the chopped onion until golden brown.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger, and cook for 1-2 minutes.
